Canadian Red Cross BLS (Basic Life Support) Courses

Titan Health & Safety will be temporarily suspending registrations for in class courses. We highly recommend our online courses at this time.

Update for Recertification Courses

All Red Cross first aid certifications (which would have expired March through September 30, 2020) will be considered valid 90-days beyond their expiry date.

Authorized by Alberta regulators.

As per our terms and conditions, during this pandemic all registration fees for courses which are postponed or cancelled will be applied as a credit which can be used for a future class. As a small business, we thank you for your support.

BLS provides the skills to recognize and respond to cardiovascular emergencies and choking for adults, children, and babies. Basic Life Support skills are required for nursing staff, doctors, EMS providers, and care aides, medical and dental professionals. You may also benefit from having your Basic Life Support level if you are a professional with a fire service or rescue team, a sports medicine professional, a lifeguard or a ski patroller. If you are not a first responder or medical professional, you may need CPR Level A or C.

Note: If you work for or plan to work for Alberta Health Services, you require Heart & Stroke Basic Life Support.

If you are a University of Calgary Nursing Student, please register here.
